Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to the Slough Decorators website and introduction service, operated by Grow Magnet Ltd.

Who we are

Grow Magnet Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 16221056. Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. You can contact us at [email protected].

What the service does

Slough Decorators introduces homeowners in and around Slough to an independent local decorator. Grow Magnet Ltd operates the website, receives the enquiry and makes the introduction. We do not provide the decorator work.

The introduced contractor independently assesses the job and is solely responsible for the quotation, contract for the work, payment arrangements, scheduling, workmanship and any guarantee. Agree the scope, price, timing and guarantee directly with the contractor before work starts.

Your enquiry and introduction

Please provide accurate contact and job information. An introduction is not a promise that a contractor will accept the job, attend within a particular time, or quote a particular price. You remain free to accept or reject any quotation.

Problems and complaints

Raise concerns about the quotation, work, payment, workmanship or guarantee with the contractor, because your contract for the work is with them. For a complaint about this website, the introduction service or how Grow Magnet uses your data, email [email protected]. We will consider whether we can help communication, but we do not take over the contractor’s obligations.

Our responsibility

Grow Magnet Ltd remains responsible for operating the website and introduction service with reasonable care and for meeting its own data-protection obligations. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your statutory rights.

So far as the law permits, Grow Magnet Ltd is not responsible for the independent contractor’s quotation, acts, omissions, work, materials, payment arrangements, workmanship or guarantee, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you used the introduction service.

Website use

You may use the website for lawful personal enquiries. Do not misuse it, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful material, or interfere with its operation. Website information is general and does not replace a contractor’s site-specific assessment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections and bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
